Shadowplay

Unrelated to the Shadows, a mysterious intelligence.

Shadowplay was a dangerous form of entertainment for bored wealthy citizens of Chasm City. It was something of an extreme sport, based on bounty hunting, with the contestant voluntarily becoming the potential target and victim of a hired Shadowplay bounty hunter. Many citizens of Chasm City utilised Shadowplay as a legally available form of self-assassination.
