Moon

The Moon is the natural satellite (moon) of Earth, the homeworld of humans and other Earth lifeforms in the Solar System.

History

Relatively little is known of the Moon's history within the context of Revelation Space universe. One of the few bigger pieces of information comes from the following paragraph of the Timeline#official timeline:

By 2069 twelve million people live off Earth; mainly around Earth and the Moon. Smaller settlements dotted around whole system, out to fringes of Kuiper Belt. Political fragmentation and social unrest follows massive breakthroughs in bio-sciences.
