A constabulary was the general term for the local police force of a Demarchist planetary urban settlement on the surface of Yellowstone.
All the major cities on the planet seemed to have their own constabularies. The constabularies also sometimes oversaw the orbital space within the area under their jurisdiction. However, they did not provide policing for the Glitter Band, which had its own separate law enforcement agencies.
